Alyson Panaro, EdD, LPC

Dr. Alyson Panaro has provided clinical psychotherapy in Fairfield County, including Greenwich, Stamford, and Darien, where she works with teenagers and adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, life transitions, and building healthy relationships. Her goal is to create a supportive environment that helps clients build resilience and feel empowered to thrive. She is especially passionate about wellness and helping individuals and families find balance in their personal, academic, and professional lives.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Panaro brings over 20 years of experience as a school counselor in both urban and suburban settings. This background gives her a unique understanding of the dynamics that students and families face both in and out of school. Having worked closely with children, adolescents, and their parents in individual sessions, small groups, classrooms, and family meetings, she has developed a deep appreciation for how school, home, and life experiences intersect. This perspective strengthens her ability to support families clinically by fostering strategies that improve communication, balance, and overall well-being.

A former college athlete, Dr. Panaro also coached soccer for 10 years, an experience that allowed her to support individuals while cultivating teamwork, resilience, and personal growth—values she continues to bring into her counseling practice today.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cooking, attending live music events, and spending time with the many teenagers in her life.
