Andrew Keilty, M.S.

Career Coach

Andrew is a behavioral health professional and career coach who earned his Master of Science in Counseling and Human Services from Post University. He has experience supporting individuals affected by substance use disorders, mental health challenges, homelessness, and complex recovery needs, and he is committed to helping people create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. His approach is grounded in person-centered care, trauma-informed practices, and recovery-oriented support, with a focus on empowering clients to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

At Gofman Therapy and Consulting, Andrew provides career coaching for teens, young adults, and adults who are exploring educational, vocational, and personal development pathways. Drawing on his background in counseling, case management, recovery services, and behavioral health treatment, he helps clients identify their strengths, values, interests, and long-term goals. Andrew recognizes that career decisions are often closely connected to personal identity, mental wellness, life circumstances, and self-confidence. Through a supportive, strengths-based approach, he helps clients overcome barriers, build resilience, increase self-awareness, and develop practical plans for success in both their professional and personal lives.

Outside of his professional work, Andrew enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son, bass fishing, reading psychological thriller novels, and watching crime and investigative television. He is also a Certified Fishing Coach through the State of Connecticut and takes pride in introducing others to the sport while encouraging patience, perseverance, and personal growth. Andrew believes that the resilience, adaptability, and determination that make a successful angler are equally valuable in recovery, career development, and navigating life’s challenges.
